Jesse A. Brown, Ph.D.

I'm a neuroscientist. I study brains, networks, and neurodegenerative diseases. I work as an Assistant Professor in the Neurology department at UCSF. I run the Systems Neuroimaging lab, affiliated with the Memory and Aging Center. You can reach me at jesse.brown@ucsf.edu

My main focuses are:
1) unraveling functional and anatomical brain connectivity
2) tracking brains changing over time during aging and neurodegeneration
3) advancing neuroimaging data sharing and visualization

I have a Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA. My advisor was Dr. Susan Bookheimer. I did my postdoc with Dr. William Seeley and the Selective Vulnerability Research Lab.

I studied cognitive science at UC Berkeley and grew up in San Diego. I like to run, read, and think about space.
